In my 20 years as a Registered Nurse, I've spent countless hours reviewing medical records. As part of my clinical practice, I've planned, coordinated, implemented, and evaluated the medical care of patients throughout the spectrum of healthcare. My experience includes education of healthcare workers and lay persons. I know how the healthcare system works and how to navigate it.

I am certified as a Medical-Surgical Nurse. Medical-surgical nursing is a vast specialty encompassing the care of adults in all types of healthcare settings. A broad knowledge base makes it easier for me to quickly identify issues that my clients need to know.

To remain current with clinical developments, I maintain membership in the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses. Formerly, I served on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Chapter of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants.

The experience I have in patient care, record review, and reporting, makes it easy for me to wade throught the healthcare issues that come up in the legal setting.

My job as a legal nurse consultant is to help make sense of healthcare issues for my clients so they can do their jobs better.
